Slowly. Companies are more and more starting to have web presence in terms of websites even if these rarely load fully or respond to their website based emails! E-commerce is something ALL companies should seriously consider since local banks are already issuing cards that can be used for e-commerce i.e buying from websites. Slowly, slowly they'll get it. BUT on the upside people use lists like dipleague and classifieds to hawk their goods and that is supposed to provide some very good responses since a lot of people play on their computers at work. Like me right now lol! I mean folks go through these lists or have them delivered into their inboxes and you could advertise your products/services and have people call you. The point I am trying to make is all business people esp the smaller,start-ups (like mine) need to be on the ball and embrace e-commerce or internet marketing or any biz on the net. The alternative to getting our much-needed publicity is to go around announcing in town...not me. I like the anonymity and directness of the internet. It also filters the browsers from the buyers. We ALL want buyers! As a new company, I'm gonna take advantage of the bigger more established competitors wanting you to phone them or go there by being on the net and being RESPONSIVE which is their big weakness. Watch this space! x-
